We had a vision to design a better snow guard system. With more than 30 years’ experience installing slate and standing seam roofs all over the North Atlantic coast, New England, and our home state of Vermont, we worked with an engineer to come up with a manufacturing process that would result in a snow guard with the performance specifications to handle the most extreme conditions.

Several years and many design changes later, Vermont Snow Guard Company became a reality.
